May is Brain Tumor Awareness Month, and every year around this time, I think about Kayne.
I had the honor of photographing him, but more than that, I had the honor of meeting him and being around him quite a few times. He wasn’t just someone I photographed once. He was someone whose courage, smile, and presence left a real impact on me.
Kayne reminded me that photography is so much bigger than taking nice pictures. Sometimes you’re trusted with moments that become part of a family’s story forever, and that is something I will never take lightly.
His strength has stayed with me for years, and I’m grateful I got to know even a small part of his story.
This month, I want to help bring awareness to brain tumors and honor the work being done through

Some people leave a mark that never fades. Kayne was one of them. 💛🎗️
