Layton - Class of 2027

Layton is the 4th kiddo from his family I have gotten to work with for senior pictures. That fact is not lost on me. I love, love getting to work with this family!

Layton is a quiet, handsome, athletic senior who is so easy to be around. His 3 sisters, mom and dad came to his session along with him and he never batted an eye at all of us suggesting what he should do :)

Take special note of his archery photo. This guy won EVERYTHING that is displayed in that photo. He's a multi-year national archery champion and built this display himself. He's also a 2-time state football champ! You'd never know any of these things in talking with him as he is as humble as it gets.

Thank you, Layton, mom, dad and sisters, for hanging out with me! It was such a fun night. Have the best senior year!

Kaci - Class of 2027

This is my kiddo. My baby. How she's a senior is beyond me, but we sure have had fun taking her pictures at her favorite spots. Lake Sakakawea where we go every summer and had the most perfect sunset and evening on the water we could have asked for. The sunset and sky are real in her pictures. No photoshop needed! Her only request for shots by home was to use the white fence her dad helped build for his boss when he was in college which was a pretty cool ask.

We have one session left in my studio but for now, wanted to share some of our favorites.

Brooke - Class of 2027

This senior holds a pretty special piece of my heart. She is the daughter of two of our oldest friends, and her and my daughter were born just 1 hour apart! Brooke's heart is as beautiful as she is. Her kindness and joy shine through her smile. She is always ready for a good time and makes sure everyone else around her is too. She is smart, caring and beautiful! I cannot believe she's already a senior, but here we go! Have a great senior year Brooke! We love you!

Brady - Class of 2027

I've known this handsome guy since he was in diapers and was thrilled to get to shoot his senior pictures out at the lake.

He's a lake rat at heart, a natural athlete, hard worker on the farm and just an all-around good kid. Brady always has a smile on his face and is willing to help out where it's needed. Our families have been friends for a very long time. We've all traveled together and have spent countless hours at the lake together. Having a daughter his same age and a son just 2 years older is a plus as the kids just tend to easily hang out together. Brady took me to his favorite lake spots and showed me his surfing skills. We ended the night with him splashing around in the lake in his football gear.

Thank you, Brady and parents, for hanging out with me! It was a great time, and I wish you the best of luck in your senior year!

A little life update for me:

After a great deal of thought, I've made the difficult decision to step away from my photography business. I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to work with such amazing people who trusted me to capture life's special moments over the past 12 years I have been in this business.

If you are currently on my books scheduled for a shoot, don't worry! I have you covered. I plan to hang up my camera towards the end of 2026.

Thank you to all of my amazing clients throughout this journey to be a part of your milestones and memories. Your support has made this little dream of mine possible, and for that I will be forever grateful. I wish you all the best as this chapter in my life closes.

Nic - Class of 2027

This guy. I've known him since he was just a little pitcrew wrestler and have watched him grow into such a great young man. He always has time to chat and give me a hug when he sees me and has that big smile on his face that just makes you smile back. When we met for photos, he handed me a gift bag full of my favorite snacks (he called my son to ask what to buy...what? Amazing!) and thanked me for taking his pictures on. I had a great time working with him and his mom and can't wait to see them again this fall for another session!

Tryce - Class of 2027

I first met this handsome senior when he was just a little guy running around at the lake. Since that time, we've become close family friends and enjoy vacations together, lake time and any chance we can all hang out together. He is the first to jump up to help out when needed, can fix whatever needs to be fixed and is just all-around a good kid. Cannot believe he's already a senior! Tryce, thank you for a great session! You rocked it!
