Hello all my friends and followers! I have been trying to deactivate this FB page for a while now (I actually thought I had deleted it but I guess not...)

Anyway, I just want to let you know I DO NOT CHECK MESSAGES ON FB. I don’t get on frequently enough anymore or get efficient notifications, so don’t send me a FB message.

The number that it listed here to text, IS NOT MY NUMBER. I don’t get any SMS messages that are linked through this account so don’t try to text me from here.

My email is linked but that also unfortunately gets backed up, so your best bet to reach me is through Instagram right now. @ bethanyevelynphoto on Instagram.

We welcomed another baby into our family back in March and have had lots of family reunions and moving this summer so my social media presence for my business has take the back seat. My Instagram has been kept up to date and I check that platform the most frequently. So message me there first and then we connect via email or text.

Thank you for your understanding! I am still taking clients, just a little more limited than I use to be. Being a mom is my full time gig, so family comes first! But I would love to work with you!

I have been such a night owl these past couple of nights and I’m sure I’m going to pay for it come Friday morning 😂🙈 But I’ve been working hard getting photos done and delivered! However, I will be “out of the office” starting Wednesday at 5pm until Monday, so if you email me or message me during that time frame please know I will be back to you promptly Monday afternoon! I’m headed into a double header wedding weekend so send me all the good sleep and energy vibes 😅 I’m so so lucky to have two awesome second shooters and two sweet couples to work with this weekend! We’re about 25 weeks over here and it is draggingggg. I remember looking back fondly on pregnancy with my boy but these long days have me wishing for March more and more. I am so grateful to be here though! To be able to carry this precious little girl and to feel her dancing up a storm in my belly. To sit and dream up names and how cute her nose will be and what it will be like to see my son become a brother. Motherhood is hard and some days I’m anxious to have another baby in our homes but most days I’m OVERWHELMINGLY ecstatic to get to continue on in my most favorite role and greatest role I’ve ever been given the chance to fill— Mama 🧡

PSA: don’t say filter in reference to a photographers editing STYLE. Our job requires a lot more work than just applying an Instagram edit... I have sat and adjusted tones, warmth, highlights, tweaked different colors luminance, hue and vibrance, adjusted brightness, grain/no grain— just to name a few settings. After playing with these settings I made my own preset which still requires some adjustments on subsequent photos. So all I’m trying to say is we photographers do a lot when it comes to creating. Both IN camera during your sessions and then after. It’s way more than pointing and shooting and crossing our fingers— it’s a lot INTENTIONAL work. So if you have a different style preference, that’s okay! It’s just not okay to diminish another persons work and artistry because it’s not your work. *stepping off soapbox* I am SO grateful for all my clients who respect me and my work and value my business because I value you all too! I feel blessed to serve so many awesome people. Anyway, thank you for coming to my ted talk 😅
