Before I unplug for the next week in the BWCA, I just have to share a couple of my faves from this newborn/family lifestyle session with the B family!

We played dinosaurs, stick swords, and Jack shared his new baby sister and mom + dad with me for some fun photos that joyfully depict this exciting season in his family's life! We even got to sneak grandma + grandpa in for some photos, too! Such a special treat!

Sharing some of the good times from the Home Town Bats Home Run Derby the end of June!

Ted and team really came together in some pretty big, rad ways to support Jacob + the Kirchner Family and the genuine joy and huge heart behind this event was an amazing thing to be part of!

Enjoy a few of my faves from the nights festivities! :) Thanks again, Ted + Home Town Bats Home Run Derby family for having me! It was a blast!!!

Last night was one for the record books-I had the honor of photographing the Home Town Bats Home Run Derby fundraiser event for Jacob.

Ted, the wonderful human that coordinates this event annually, puts so much care, thought, time and effort into raising money to help a local family each year. And with his sweet faimly + friends, all the volunteers and donors by his side, they make such special memories for the families they serve, as well as the patrons that come out to support this great cause! It really reminds a person that there IS good in this world!

Jacob and his family sure felt the love last night! Thank you, Ted and team, for having me, and thank you to everyone that turned up to show your love and support for the Kirchner Family! Y'all are rockstars!

To the New Prague High School Class of 2026 Graduates (and their parents), CONGRATULATIONS! 🎉🙌🏼😁

🎓 Grads, you put in the work and earned passage into this new stage of adulthood. Be kind. Be courageous. And be grateful for the opportunities that lie ahead of you! Make the most of this time because it is some of the best years of your life! Be proud of the time and effort you put in, and make sure to hug the people that helped get you here-because they sure do love you!

👨‍👩‍👦Parents, this is as much an accomplishment for you to celebrate as well! You loved your kiddo, supported them, gave them opportunities that you maybe never had, and guided them through the formative years of their lives to get them to this amazing milestone. So, congrats to you, too! You should be proud of your grad and the hard work y'all put in to get them through!

My prayer for you is that you always find the good in every day. That you follow your dreams and make our world a better place. And that you remember the people, places, and values that matter most! Look out for each other. Learn from all your experiences. And make so many memories along the way! God bless you all as you begin this exciting new season of posssibly!

Did you know that I have a sweet little studio set-up available in my home? It offers a cozy indoor session option for those less than desirable MN weather seasons and has great natural light! It is a wonderful option for milestone sessions-kinda like the 1 Year Milestone session we did here over the weekend! Isn't this little lady just the cutest thing ever?! 😍

I'm certainly not going to claim 2026 as 'MY year', (life has a way of laughing in my face when I try and say stuff like that, so I'm giving it to God and calling it good) but I am going to do a better job of putting my goals and dreams out there for accountability and for opportunities for the serve more amazing client friends!

I have been mulling over this bingo card for the last two weeks and I think it's going to be a great start to a busy, bountiful, beautiful year of sessions, connections, and creativity!
