PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU COMMENT - Claymont FALL SENIOR Athletes -
When I created this image, I knew there might be strong feelings surrounding this building and its future. But this photograph was never intended to make a statement about its future or to dismiss how anyone feels about it.

As a photographer, I have always believed that my job is to capture more than a moment—I preserve pieces of time.

Every one of these seniors once walked through the doors of this building. They learned here, grew here, formed friendships here, and created memories that helped shape who they are today. Before this familiar place becomes part of the past, I wanted them to have something meaningful to hold onto.

Twenty or thirty years from now, they will be able to look at this photograph and remember where part of their story began. They may even show it to their own children. I know my husband has memories here he has told our girls.

That is the heart behind this image: honoring these students, preserving their history, and carrying the legacy forward.

I understand that this building’s future brings many different emotions. However, this post is a celebration of these seniors and their memories—not a place for arguments or negativity. Please keep all comments kind, respectful, and focused on the students. Negative or hurtful comments will be removed.

Buildings may change, but the memories created inside them remain. 🧡🤎
