I wanted to kindly address something that has come up quite a bit over the past few months regarding photography sessions. I’m sharing this with a genuine heart because I know most people don’t mean any harm when they ask.

My photography services are not free. The only exceptions are when I specifically advertise free sessions, model calls, giveaways, or charity events. When I offer free sessions or model calls, they're typically to build my portfolio or create content, and participants agree to allow me to use their images for my business.

Please don't get me wrong—I love a good bargain, and I'm always open to discussing trades! If you have a service you'd like to exchange for a photography session, feel free to reach out. I truly enjoy supporting other small businesses and helping one another when it makes sense.

Photography is how I help provide for my family, just like hairstylists, nail technicians, mechanics, restaurants, and countless other professionals who charge for their time and expertise. My pricing isn't based on greed or "price gouging." It's based on the reality of running a business.

Behind every session are expenses that most people don't see: professional camera equipment, lenses, maintenance and replacements, editing software, props, travel, fuel, insurance, studio rentals, continuing education, and so much more. Like any small business owner, a large portion of what I earn goes right back into my business so I can continue providing the best experience possible.

I truly appreciate every person who supports my work, recommends me, shares my posts, and chooses me to capture their memories. Your support means more than you know.

With that being said, I kindly ask that you please don't message me expecting a free session. While I wish I could say yes to everyone, I simply can't afford to work for free and still provide for my family.

Thank you for understanding and for continuing to support my small business. It truly means the world to me. 🫶🏻
