Jimmy and Julia’s story began back in their hometown of Ohio, where they met and started dating before life led them on a new adventure together in Louisiana. While pursuing their dreams, Julia attended Tulane University and Jimmy attended the University of Louisiana Lafayette.
As graduation approached and their journey in Louisiana was coming to an end, Jimmy knew there was one more important thing he wanted to do before heading back home to Ohio — ask Julia to spend forever with him. And honestly… what better place to leave a piece of their story than right here in New Orleans? ✨
A few months ago, Jimmy reached out to me about planning a surprise proposal for May. With my due date getting closer, I was definitely hesitant at first… but I said yes anyway, because moments like these are just too special not to capture. Surprise proposals hold such an intimate, heartfelt kind of emotion that always reminds me why I love what I do so much.
Thank you, Jimmy, for trusting me to document such a meaningful chapter in your lives. It was truly an honor to witness and capture this unforgettable moment for the two of you.
