Mike here. Happy ! We were chatting with Rich and Strange Photography at the Costume and Camera Gallery Show (running at Workhouse Arts Center through 3/22), which inspired me to dig up this stunning photo he took of Gloria’s DC Bombshells Catwoman, all the way back at Awesome Con 2018. Justin is one of the photogs who showed us how to use creative lighting and location selection to make a convention center less hideously ugly, and to make cosplayers shine no matter where they are. So much of our approach to con photography today traces back to watching Justin (and others) taking photos like this, and getting a new understanding of what’s possible.
