A little backstory for this bride:

-She had to switch photographers for her wedding. (Not for any bad reasons. It was a beautiful life event getting ready to take place!)

-She had to deal with the government shutdown.

-She was finishing up school.

Quick question for everyone...

What makes you choose one photographer over another?

Is it their style? Personality? Pricing? Reviews? Recommendations from friends?

And here's another question:

When was the last time you reached out to a photographer just to have a conversation—not to book a session, not to get a quote, and not to hear a sales pitch?

For me, photography has always been about building relationships first and creating images second. Some of my favorite clients started as simple conversations over coffee, a phone call, or a few messages online.
