Megan & Allan had a beautiful wedding day in the French Quarter of New Orleans. Traveling from Canada, they experienced the quintessential New Orleans experience. First, vows were made at French Quarter Wedding Chapel, followed by a second line with Kinfolk Brass Band to Cornet Restaurant New Orleans for the wedding luncheon, including a Bourbon Street balcony and beads. Finally, the day ended with a dinner cruise on the Paddlewheeler Creole Queen paddlewheel boat.

When Corinne (the bride) requested that I recreate the pose of the wedding portrait of her mother with her bridesmaids, it sounded like a fun idea. It made me think about how traditions change (that pose was popular at one time), yet the feeling and sense of love remain the same. The circle of life continues from one generation to another.
