Kentucky Derby Memory #2

As a newspaper photographer, I got to be on the dirt track itself to shoot the races. I could not only hear the thundering herd of the racehorses, but I could feel it beneath our feet.

Some years I was assigned to shoot the race from the roof or the infield, but my favorite spot was the first turn. I don't have a lot to write about the experience, because the photos tell the story.

Back when I had my studio, February was a very busy month for bo***ir shoots as a Valentine’s gift. It was cold outside but the clients were hot! Now that I live in Florida it’s never too cold outside.
