In the many years and 10s of thousands of pictures of taken with , it's very rare I've seen someone hoist themselves up. He, as a first timer, did just that...and enjoyed it a good bit. He did a lot of stuff usually only seasoned vets do. Highly impressive newbie!

For this private event, we had 2 folks: she with prior suspension experience but trying knees for the first time, he a first timer. To say I saw elation on both of their faces, including on his first suspension, is an understatement.

"tandem/energy pull/trucking" - when 2 suspension artists join together at the hooks to pull against each other. Helps stretch out and provides some friendly competition.

It takes a lot to suspend from body piercing. But the experience, from all I've seen, is an enjoyable one to say the least. I've seen so many looks of peace and relaxation as folks sail through the air.

For this private event, we had 2 folks: she with prior suspension experience but trying knees for the first time, he a first timer. To say I saw elation on both of their faces, including on his first suspension, is an understatement. Lots more coming, highlighting them working and suspending together and separate, soon!

This talented person is doing , an that involves and, well, . Specifically, she has back piercings and knee piercings to call a pose that is known as "cradle/hammock" while he, as his first time, just had back.
I'm too scared to try it but, after years of taking pics of suspension with , I can tell you I always see looks of peace and joy. Maybe one day I'll find out for myself. But probably not 😜

Industry standard for photographers is "x amount of time for x amount of pictures.". It's the norm. But it's a norm I can't abide by as it limits my and my ability to show my clients how amazing they are. I feel a photographers job is always to show their client just how amazing they are, each and every one of them. I hope I do that 😊

Another 2 examples, the first of a darker and more dramatic edit vs one with vivid and bright colors with a flash lighting. I tend to edit on a picture-by-picture basis, which allows me to be more with whatever the photo inspires me to do.

This talented artist is doing , an art that involves and, well, . I'm too scared to try it but, after years of taking pics of suspension with , I can tell you I always see looks of peace and joy. Maybe one day I'll find out for myself. Or not 😜

Another 2 examples, the first one, focused on the hooks in vivid color, vs the second one, in a more dramatic black and white, focused on her face (the 3rd is me being a little creative with a flash so that one's just fun). As a photog, why should I only choose 1 to edit when both clearly so much and are such great shots?
