Didn’t have a plan when I left the house, ended up in Laffite for my monthly drive around the region. Right at sunset. Hadn’t been out there since I was a kid. It’s crazy how quickly I was out of the city and in a totally different place.

Part of my goal for the new year is to spend some weekend afternoons just driving/walking around the region taking photos. It always brings me joy.

My first curiosity of the year was Nine Mile Point, the power generation plant literally across the Mississippi River from my house. I’d never been there before, and it’s a whole other vibe.

I’m gonna do this once every month I think. If anybody has any suggestions, please throw em out there.

2025 travel photo recap. I got to do more traveling in 2025 than I deserve. Hoping to continue that in 2026 if I can. Nothing helps reset my brain like ripping it from the predictable day-to-day.
