Gabriel, 3, and Tristan, 5 months — one energetic toddler and one adorable baby face, together for a summer session full of sweetness.

Barefoot, a little swing time, and cuddles between brothers. These are the baby days worth holding onto — the ones you never want to forget.

Give two brothers a garden this beautiful and this much room to run, and pure joy is pretty much guaranteed — Lewis and George made the most of every inch of Longue Vue, fountains included.

An overcast summer day meant we practically had the gardens to ourselves, plenty of room to run wild before settling in for the picture every parent wants: two brothers, matching outfits, looking absolutely adorable together for exactly the ten seconds it takes to snap the shot.

I'll be back there in October and November, DM me if you want details...

My bubble machine earned its keep at this session. Luke and Nolan chased bubbles across the Children's Fountain at Audubon Park like it was the best job they'd ever had — running, popping, laughing, repeat.

In between the chaos, a few quiet ones wrapped in their with their mom's arms — the kind of lazy summer day moment that's easy to miss if you're not looking for it.

Sophie and Simon helped me test out one of my new favorite spots — Goldring Woldenberg Riverfront Park in the French Quarter.

Between the marsh-themed playground, the misters keeping everyone cool, and one of the best views of the Mississippi River you'll find in the city, this place has quickly become a go-to.

Add in genuinely easy parking (a rare gift downtown) and you've got a location that's as much fun for the kids as it is for getting real, relaxed family photos. Let me know if you want to do some family photos at this location this Fall!

Things to remember about this summer with Charles, Linus, Adelaide, and Blaise:
Sticky fingers from a popsicle that melted faster than anyone could eat it.
Grass stuck to bare toes.
Sprinkler chases.
Pointing out airplanes.
Siblings who don't need a reason to be together — just time, heat, and each other.
These are the moments I try to catch before they disappear. Not the posed smile — the popsicle drip. Not "look at the camera" — the airplane moment. Sharing a few of my favorite summer sessions before fall takes over, and this one's full of exactly the kind of small, fleeting stuff I never want anyone to forget.

Maya and Quynh brought serious energy to Chance in Hell Snoballs for their summer session. Bright colors, sticky hands, and twin chaos in the best possible way.

As I wrap up summer and get ready to dive into fall bookings, I wanted to share a few of my favorite sessions from these last few months — and this one's easily near the top of the list.

There's a whole language between sisters, and Junie and Ruthie speak it fluently — you could see it in every splash at the Children's Fountain in Audubon Park.

These two don't need instructions on how to have fun together; they just do it, and mom and dad happily jumped right in. Pure joy, pure connection, pure summer.

Sharing a few of my favorite sessions from these last few months before fall takes over, and this one is right at the top.

Just weeks away from delivering her second baby, and still out chasing her daughter around the fountain at Audubon Park — that was this session. Charli's mom put it simply: "This is one of her last few weeks of being an only child, I just want her to have fun and capture those memories."

So that's exactly what I set out to capture. One more golden afternoon, just the three of them, before their family grows by one.

Sometimes the best summer setup isn't a fancy location at all — it's a blowup pool, a big couch dragged outside, and enough kids to turn both into complete chaos. A family of 8 (dog included, whether he was invited or not) proved that theory perfectly.
Somebody's always climbing on somebody else, and not one single photo is posed — because there was no chance of that happening. Sometimes that's exactly what makes a session great.
DM me if you want in on this.

There's something about these long summer evenings — no school in the morning, no rush to get anyone in bed, just kids staying up a little later because they can. The light stretches out too, golden and soft in a way it just isn't the rest of the year.

These are the hours I love photographing most. Not the posed, everyone-looking-at-the-camera moments, but the in-between ones — running around barefoot while the sky turns pink, parents finally relaxing because the day's almost done. It's dreamy, and it's the kind of thing that's easy to forget unless someone captures it.
