In Ben’s room. This was a slow session out in the country. We gabbed about life as a new mother. At some point during the session I saw Aileen had a collection of Emily Dickinson poems on her side table. To quote Emily

“To love is so startling it leaves little time for anything else.”

It perfectly captures this season of life. The hours fly when caring for and kissing your baby all day, you forget to make food for yourself or put a load of clothes to wash. And yet, it’s a life overflowing with love.
