Newest iteration of the NPPPA competition print racks. These are the winners as far as design. I have a couple aesthetic things to tweak. But after...many hours...I came full circle with one of the first designs. I should have trusted my first best thought...😂😂😂 Don't ask how much 3d printer time there is there...both resin and filament based.

A little sad...I had to give back my little man today. Bye bye little photo man...may we meet again. At least the sunrise was pretty. Still a sunset on 🏆 time though...

If you use the Nik photo filters this is a great opportunity to learn more about them! Plus if you are a PPA member this is good for your continuing education and merit count as well! I will be there for sure!

The last image that I had in competition this time was titled "All together now! - in Technicolor" As most of you know I am a big fireworks shooter and love to create images from the shows that I attend during the year. This image was from the 2022 Montrose 4th of July display. I consider it the best shot of the show and one of my better fireworks shots over the years. This print scored an 83 in the competition and the critiques were to perhaps pull in closer to the fireworks. Perhaps darken down the dark parts of the image to closer to an absolute black. Also they did not like the baseball building in the lower part of the image that is the darker spot near the center near the bottom of the shot. This was also the only shot printed on a different paper, this was printed on metallic paper to give it more punch on the shot.

The third image is titled "Inside a warrior's eyes." This image scored a 76 in the print competition. The critique on this image was the lighter portions in the top of the image above the player and one judge did not agree that he had a warrior look and as such it affect the score.

The second image is titled "Steampunk Shock" and the print scored an 80 in competition. The critiques were that the outer "mat/border was too light and as such distracting. Another judge was not fond of the look and though it did not portray "shock" as much as they would have wanted to see.

First image is titled "I'm thinking of you." This print scored a 76 in the competition. The main critiques on this shot were it did not have enough contrast "more punchy" and that the crop was too close to the top side of the shot.

Omega Image Photography is going to be cancelling the remainder of our Santa photo nights. I am very appreciative of Tom and the crew out there for giving me the chance. But due to a very lackluster sales performance over the last two weekends I have elected to waive my last two weekends. All of the photos from the event will remain up on the website for sales until 1st Feb 2022. To the few who bought photos from us and even the few who who grabbed the free shots, thank you for choosing my photos. This was not an easy choice. I will be onsite at the event a few nights but only for promotional photo/video purposes.
