Susan O'Connor is a fine art photographer that resides in a quaint, lake-town community in western Maryland with her husband and two sons. She began her photographic journey nearly 20 years ago to capture "quiet nature" in hopes of adding a unique perspective to the

subject. Often inspired by the magical place where she lives, which is surrounded by mountain views, pastoral farmland and an abundance of beauty, she takes her camera wherever she goes. Her photographic style is an eclectic assortment of genres. She gravitates toward poetic and dreamy, lonely-romantic imagery...reminiscent of a beloved memory. She adores flowers and botanical subjects the most. Tomorrow, February 17th, is the start of the Chinese New Year and the beginning of the Year of the Horse! 🐎✨

Celebrations last for 15 days, ending with the beautiful Lantern Festival on March 3. The Horse symbolizes strength, freedom, passion, and grace — qualities I absolutely love and try to capture in my photography.
