A new baby to love is one of the greatest blessings in life. I can't even explain how excited I am to watch my little girl become a mommy next month. My heart is overflowing with love as I wait to meet my beautiful granddaughter.

So excited for Lexi, Jake, and big brother Logan on new baby girl arriving in about 4 weeks! I first met this couple when Lexi was expecting Logan around 20 months ago and I have had the pleasure of photographing Logan throughout his first year several times and also as one of my Clever Baby models a couple of times. So excited for them to welcome their new little princess in just a few more weeks.

I always love seeing the D family for updated family pics - they visit me a couple times a year and the kids are just the cutest and they especially love visiting me every Christmas to have a visit with Santa. They light up as soon as they see him. We had a great session on Friday evening.

It was a beautiful day yesterday for Lydia and Jacob's wedding day at Ashley Farm in Yorkville. They are the sweetest couple and had so much fun celebrating their day with all their family and friends. I first met Lydia when I photographed her sisters wedding day 6 months ago, and was thrilled to be asked to photograph her wedding. It was an honor to capture the memories of their special day for them to cherish forever!

This is my 43rd year of photographing weddings but it was my first time shooting at this beautiful farm venue. It was stunning and they do an amazing job hosting weddings. What a wonderful day!!
