Over an hour drive, multiple snow and ice reschedules, and a due date quickly approaching, but we were finally able to meet 🤍.

York River State Park gave us the most beautiful winter backdrop, and this sweet family braved the cold temperatures for these memories. So worth it.

There’s something extra special about being able to capture memories in the snow.

This family of five spent just 15 minutes in the winter wonderland, and it turned into moments they’ll always look back on. The older two had a snowball fight while the youngest was mesmerized by the snow beneath his feet. Simple, fun, and unforgettable.🩵❄️

✨ Happy New Year 2026! ✨

We welcomed the New Year early with this session at Historic Jasmine in Providence Forge, and it was breathtaking. The gorgeous swing, mature trees, and timeless setting reminded me of Maymont in Richmond right here in New Kent.

I had the pleasure of photographing this family for the second time, and it’s such a delight to watch the kids grow and capture their personalities. Despite the freezing cold, you’d never guess it with all the laughing, swinging, and hugs happening against this stunning backdrop. This family truly made the session so much fun!

Back in August, I had the sweetest session with this beautiful couple 💙 Watching them beam with excitement was such a joy to capture.

I’m definitely playing catch-up on sharing sessions lately (full-time homeschooling life is no joke! 🙃), but I’m slowly finding my rhythm and loving getting to revisit these special moments.

Family sessions are my jam! 🍂🍁

This family with three boys was full of energy, laughter, and heart. The youngest’s face just lit up every time he saw Mom and Dad, while his big brother was always there to keep him safe. Between tree climbing, leaf throwing, and nonstop giggles, it was such a joy to capture these real, in-between moments.🍂

When coastal flooding changes your plans… you find something even more beautiful. ✨

We traded the original beach spot for the stunning Fossil Beach at York River State Park, and wow…it did not disappoint!

Then we wrapped up the evening wandering through a wildflower field at Holly Fork Farm, filled with sunflowers and zinnias. It was the perfect golden finish for this sweet senior’s session.

She brought the brightest smile to every moment… truly a joy to photograph. 💛
