For this family, Maine has never been just a vacation destination. It’s a place woven into generations of their story.

Summer after summer, they’ve returned to these rocky shores—a tradition that has been passed down through the family for decades. What once began with parents bringing their children has now become those same children bringing their own.

There is something incredibly special about watching a new generation discover the places that shaped the generations before them.

The same ocean.
The same rocky coastline.
The same salty air.
The same sense of wonder.

Only now, it’s shared through little hands collecting treasures along the shore, climbing over weathered rocks, and making memories that will one day become stories of their own.

These photographs are more than a snapshot of a family vacation. They’re a reminder that some of life’s greatest gifts aren’t found in grand moments, but in the traditions we choose to carry forward.

Because one day, these little girls may return here with children of their own, sharing the same coastline, the same stories, and the same love for a place that has been part of their family’s story for generations.
