Maybe it’s a portrait of you and your newborn baby, or a walk down the aisle with you and your now-grown baby. Sometimes it is a candid photo shot in the blink of an eye when nobody knew the lens was watching. My joy comes from preserving these moments for my clients so they can wholly own them forever. My clients can freely share their images with their own family and friends, multiplying the joy
across miles and days. It is my practice to sign over your professionally edited digital shots to you, building your personal library. To me that is the beauty of digital technology. Together we create the art. I want you to revisit all of your images, sit with them, and study them to find new ways of remembering the moments they depict. Digital technology has changed the world. No doubt that change is felt in so many art forms – film making, landscape photography, portraiture, music – making art more accessible to all of us. Maybe the cost of expanding the reach of these art forms to so many people, through digital technology like photography, has been a dissolution of some precious and valuable artistic traditions. Clearly the technology has revolutionized entire professions, such as photography. These professions are evolving and adapting right now. We can hope that history will properly recognize the traditions and honor the continued practice of our pre-digital world, while the future forges ahead to meet the needs of our changing environment. It has been my pleasure to share my creativity and passion for digital photography with the many individuals and families I have worked with. If you are looking for someone to collaborate with, someone to encourage your own creativity, someone to listen to your ideas and what you hope to achieve in the photo shoot, someone who is sincerely excited about working with you, then drop me an email or give me a call.
