I have been wanting to do this for a while but today I am making it official. With everything going on in the world, I will no longer be posting images of children on my business page and website. I always get permission from my clients, but I want to protect them even more by just not posting them at all.

I announce this information so that everyone knows I am still doing family and 1st birthday photography, that is not changing. You just will not see images of the whole family together or images from 1st birthdays. I will leave previous images up (once up, always up) so that people can see my work.

I am overwhelmed (in all the good ways) with the sessions I have had since May. This family came from Alaska to visit their newest member of the family so it was only fitting we get family photos done for them too!

Y'all have shown up 🩵

I intended to come back from maternity leave sometime in April. I did not have a set date and full transparency; I was not even sure I could manage sessions two months post partum, but God! Not only has He literally held me steady while in sessions, but He has provided session after session since April 1st. I am beyond blown away and grateful.

This session was my first one back and one that is bittersweet. I photographed her sister's graduation photos just last year, right before I got pregnant. I have known these girls for a long time, so watching them grow and then graduate just fills my heart with so much joy. I cannot wait to see where God places you Shelby.

Maternity Leave 🍼🍼

I was hoping to hang on until the 24th of this month, but I need to begin my maternity leave starting today. I had one final session last night with a beautiful friend who is also pregnant and my body is ready to rest before baby girl's arrival.

I am still accepting bookings for after April 2026 so do not hesitate to reach out and schedule your spring and summer sessions. I am also off all social media platforms so please email me at [email protected] or through my main website to book. I will not be on social media until after baby is born.

I am praying everyone has had a good start to the New Year and I thank each and every one of you for your support with my business.
