Haven't posted as much lately for a number of reasons. One of which is I have to find time to get through the 10's of thousands of images I have. I did transfer some images from this morning to my phone so I could have stuff to share.

So there is this place called Ash Meadows right at the California border. The water is all from geothermal springs so hot water. These fish live there even in the hot water and are know as the rarest fish on earth.

Today I went after a new subject. Did my research on where to find them and here we go....the indigo bunting.

I attempted this during my trip around Christmas. Just found the memory card I thought I had lost.

Still need to practice the technique and get longer exposure time, but having never attempted it before it was a good first attempt.

I tried playing in the snow today. It wasn't great, but always fun to try.
