Jkl images was started in 2008 and offered many types of photography and forensic artis
try. Now that, I have retired from the forensic artistry aspect and rebuilding after 2020. It was time to decide if I closed up shop all together or make some changes. After a lot of thought about where the future was taking me, I decided to level up and move the business forward. Well, let’s start with what’s not new. I strive to bring high quality and artful photography to my clients at an affordable price. I have the desire to work with creative clients and make their dreams come to life through the lens. I still offer high quality, color balanced, professionally printed photos, printed on high quality paper. They are not drug store or box store prints, that will fade in five years. Now, I’ve heard from many that want digital files. Here are the reasons I didn’t go that route, except for commercial clients. When I first started, I provided just a CD with photos. I found that clients were getting poor quality prints made and displayed them or would edit the photo themselves, not having the best results. I found that I was doing a disservice to my clients. I realized that many of my clients have had photos taken and never printed them. The CDs sat in a desk drawer or were lost when a hard drive crashed. I had a client who left their photos on a laptop and reused the jump drive. The laptop crashed and all their photos were gone. I wasn’t the shoot’em, dump’em, and run kind of guy. I provided quality photography and editing. I didn’t want my clients to be left holding the bag of how to enjoy their photos. I started providing only prints for non-commercial clients. I offer replacement of prints if they are damaged, i.e. water, fire, or other. I offer, but never really advertised different photo products, large prints and framing, canvas prints, cards, holiday ornaments, and many more available on the website. I will now be offering digital files along with or just digital files. Why is providing quality service so important? I have enjoyed the honor of capturing moments in life for so many and creating family heirlooms to be passed down over time. So, what has changed: I offer in person viewing if requested. I have several whys to make your selecting and ordering easier. You have the choice of several paper types, along with high quality canvas prints, and a large selection of photo products. The galleries can either be public or private for your or your child’s safety. For senior portraits I handle the submitting to the schools so you don’t have too. I don’t limit outfit changes for seniors or head shots. I can provide a privacy tent for easy changing on location. I have many different types and styles of back drops for indoor sessions. If your session is better captured outdoors, I will continue to provide that service, along with continually developing new locations in the area. I offer affordable packages so you can save and get want you want. What type of photography will jkl Custom Photography provide? Over the years I have shot a wide variety of themes. I bring those experiences and styles to capture your photos. I can provide you with commercial photography, head shots, products, food, night photography, structures, aviation, and landscapes. I can provide you with themed photography sessions, pin up, glamor, modeling, hobbies and passions, and events. I also provide maternity, newborn, family, pets, senior portraits, sports.
