Yesterday we had a beautiful 😍 day and Jesús Cautivo Oviedo had a holy week parade starting at Basílica de San Juan el Real de Oviedo at around 7:45pm and they returned around 11:00pm. A beautiful procession with bagpipes, drums and long time tradition in Ayuntamiento de Oviedo. This was from the Hermandad y Cofradia de Jesus Cautivo.

Ayer tuvimos un día precioso 😍 y Jesús Cautivo Oviedo tuvo un desfile de Semana Santa que empezó en la Basílica de San Juan el Real de Oviedo sobre las 19:45 y regresaron sobre las 23:00. Una hermosa procesión con gaitas, tambores y una larga tradición en el Ayuntamiento de Oviedo.

A beautiful end to the holiday season in Oviedo, Espana! It's been a great first year for us and we've fallen in love with this city, its people and our lives in Spain. The annual Three Kings Parade ( Cabalgata de Los Tres Magos ) concludes the holiday season. We'll do our best to begin posting previous and future adventures here. Best wishes to all.

Hello all, sorry we haven't started posting as much as expected... but we're just getting set here in Spain. We went out in the mist to "Por la Ascensión cerezas en Oviedo" in Spain.we got to the "Plaza de Alfonso II El Casto" where there was a lot of Asturian Cheeses and some great folk music and dancers along the way. Hola amigos, nos hemos mudamos a Oviedo. Hey friends Sergio & Rick here, after a lot of planning and dreaming we've made the move to Spain. Our chosen city was so different from our initial thoughts. We've opted for Oviedo, Asturias and although it's only been two days it seems we've made the right choice. We've met many wonderful people who are proud of Oviedo ( rightfully so ) and as soon as Rick feels better he's wanting to enjoy the sights I'm sharing with you in photos from my walks. Big hugs to everyone. Our dream of living in Spain after Rick retires is finally real. Difficult, full of twists and turns and still were realizing this was the right move for us. Hoping everyone is well. We'll do our best to keep you updated.
