A full circle moment…I first met this mama when I was about to deliver my own daughter, and now I had the honor of photographing her beautiful family. Capturing memories like this is exactly why I fell in love with photography in the first place. Moments like these remind me just how special this job truly is.

We had so much fun during his cake smash session. Emmett absolutely smashed his cake and totally gave off Bob Ross vibes — the colors painted his outfit perfectly, and he was such a little ham in front of the camera!

This was such a full-circle moment for me, too. I got to reconnect with his mom, who was a close friend from high school — we spent so many days together in theater and the arts.

If you’ve been thinking about booking a cake smash session, do it! It’s such a fun and memorable way to celebrate your little one’s big milestone.
