Olivia reached out wanting to document some time with Pea, who’s getting older, in one of their favorite spots in Mattapoisett. Christian and their other pup joined for a few photos along the way, too.

There’s something really special about photographs like these — not marking a milestone, just holding onto the people and little pieces of life that mean the most.

Bridget, Mike, and their pup at Skaket Beach on Cape Cod 🐚

We spent the evening wandering the shoreline, taking in the sunset, and documenting this season of life together. Some sessions don’t need much of a plan—just a beautiful beach, a couple who enjoys being together, and a dog who’s more than happy to tag along.

Skaket Beach is one of those Cape Cod locations that always offers the perfect backdrop for a relaxed couples session, especially as the sun starts to set.

Megan and Shaun celebrated with the people who love them most, including their dog Charlie right there with them. The day felt easy in the best way — nothing felt like it had to be anything other than what it was, just them and the people closest to them.

They kept things close to what mattered most: being with their people, staying present, and letting the day unfold without trying to shape it into something else.

That’s what always stands out to me.

The weddings that stay with me aren’t about how everything looks, it’s about being able to feel the day again through the photos 🕊️
