It’s a Super New Moon tonight (06/14) — the moon’s at its closest to Earth during the new phase. You won’t see it though, since it’s aligned with the sun, but it’s the biggest new moon of the year. Perfect for setting intentions if you’re into that.

It’s also the closest new moon of the year, at about two hundred twenty-two thousand miles from Earth. It’s in Gemini, so astrologically it’s great for setting intentions around communication, fresh ideas, or new projects. Since it’s new, the sky’s extra dark tonight — perfect for stargazing.

As someone who was trained in Reiki Level 3 but no longer practices, I’ve learned one important thing: consent is everything. Never let anyone perform energy work, rituals, or any spiritual practice on you without your clear permission. Whether it’s Reiki, “cleansing,” or something else, your body and your energy, your choice. If someone starts doing it without asking, it’s okay to speak up and say no. Your comfort comes first. 💗

Some people have zero self-awareness but plenty of power, so everyone learns to dance around them.

They rewrite stories in their head, suddenly make you the villain, then act like you’re the problem. Classic low emotional intelligence—can’t read the room, can’t check their own assumptions, can’t manage their own feelings.

Always remember, you don’t have to fix them. Just protect your peace and let others deal with the fallout.
