I’m elbow-deep in spring cleaning at the studio—sorting through old props, dusty backgrounds, and gear I thought I needed/the algorithm wanted to sell me. 🥴 I’m trying to decide what serves a purpose, and what needs to be tossed!

We had such remarkable family portraits taken while we were in Indiana that I wanted to share some more! These were taken on a cold, misty evening when no one really wanted to get out of the house, but I knew it would be worth it. My squishy, chubby-cheeked children are growing long and lanky. I have two teenagers in my home!! Jack yearns for his own car, Clara wears my clothes and Bruce the Moose with his huge round eyes now has huge feet only a size smaller than dad. Charlotte, at seven, still loves to play with toys and it’s a gift from God that I get to have a little one around a while longer. Thanks for the memories! ❤️

New year, new headshot!

It’s amazing how a new photo (and new haircut 😉) can make you feel great. :) Photo by Clara, who likes to crouch and shoot up at her subjects. It’s not my usual style, but I decided to let her go with it. I’ve been letting my older kids play and “get their hands dirty” with photography. It’s ok to try things and see what happens! I hope you try something new this year. :)
