Idyllic Images and Photography by Lisa Moore

Idyllic Images and Photography by Lisa Moore I am passionate about shooting what feels natural in a natural environment.

In essence, I strive to capture the emotions, mood and the spirit of the moment and enjoy the spontaneity of an outdoor photo shoot in tune with nature and in rhythm with the seasons. I am also quite flexible, open to your thoughts, ideas, desires and suggestions and will strive to achieve just the type of photos you want to have realized. I am currently comfortable shooting in Columbiana County,

OH, Beaver County, PA and in and around the beautiful lake and community of Lake Tomahawk where I reside; however, I will consider traveling elsewhere for special photo shoots. I consider myself an "all around" Lifestyle photographer inspired by the natural elements of the outdoors, the energy and personalities of those I shoot and a desire to release the creativity bottled up inside me. I specialize in the creation of Senior Graduation photo shoots, matching the student's personality and interests with a picturesque environment, then preserving their images professionally in portraits and custom and exclusively designed photo albums designed to last a lifetime.

It was an unusually warm, winter day in February when we took Jackie’s Senior photos. The temperature was in the 60’s and the sun was trying so hard to shine its bright light through the clouds which were speedily moving through the sky. The ice (which covered the lake only a few days prior when the temps were frigidly cold) was starting to recede and melt leaving room for a few reflections of the trees and shoreline to fit in! I couldn’t help but notice while taking Jackie’s photos that her beautiful eyes and demure smile completed the beauty surrounding us! Thank you Jackie - you did great posing for your photos! I wish you much success in whatever comes next, and joy in how you get there. This is just the beginning of all the amazing things you’re going to do!

As a mom of two sons, I know photoshoots for guys aren’t always their favorite thing to do. Most Senior boys get their Senior photos done just to make mom and dad happy, but we usually end up having a lot fun. I try to make it super chill and as easy going as possible, and after a bit of shooting, I enjoy watching the Senior finally relax and let their personality shine through. Heath did such a great job and is he is super photogenic - so I know I probably have way too many photos here of him, but I simply had a hard time choosing my favs! Heath, I wish you best wishes as you graduate this spring and start that next great chapter in life! Thank you again Gretchen Leigh and Duane Nickell for choosing me to take Heath’s Senior photos~

Any one interested in Senior photo sessions, please contact me soon to ensure availability as I will be taking on a limited amount of clients.

A few weeks ago, I visited the “Tulip Experience” event at White House Fruit Farm with some friends. I looked forward in anticipation to the visit for the opportunity to photograph all of the different varieties and colors of tulips, as tulips are one of my favorite flowers! I have to admit I was a bit disappointed, however, as there weren’t as many blooms and plants this year due to extreme weather conditions. There was very cold temps the evening before our visit and many of the flowers appeared faded, browning and even withered. All in all, there was still some beautiful and vibrant color to enjoy and I managed to get a few photos of some pretty tulips that survived the cold! We also enjoyed shopping in the fruit market, where I purchased some delicious yogurt jalapeño cheese, an interesting Guacamole Herb Blend seasoning, Kiku apples and a few delectable donuts. Then on to lunch with the girls to Carla’s Cafe, one of my favorite lunch spots in Columbiana! Following are some of my favorite tulip photos from that day.

Did you ever have an unexpected moment that just made your day?
All winter, I wanted to take a photo of a buck, and looked hard and wide for one. But it was to my despair, that the woods and areas I searched in were always devoid of the one thing I wanted to see! I most always travel now with my camera in the car and just a few days ago, I was deep in my thoughts and wasn’t searching for anything in particular as I drove down this rural road. Then they caught my eye…two bucks standing in the woods…so I slowly came to a stop. Hastily I grabbed my camera, thinking they would take off any second before I could get it turned on and the lens cap off…but they just stood there staring at me. Then they turned like they were going to bolt and posed again. In a flash, they were gone through the brush at the blink of an eye. I thought what an amazing experience I just had in this unexpected moment of pure serendipity!
