There is “only” about 300 or so steps, plus trail, to reach the very top of Sugar Loaf Mountain in Marquette, MI. There is an easy and difficult trail to choose from with platforms at the summit for different viewing perspectives. Stretch those legs, bring water and remind yourself when the legs are screamin, the view will be worth it. 😆 🏔️

To know him is to know he is brilliant, supportive, loving, encouraging and can really do absolutely anything. But most of all, his love for his family and for others is what makes him so special and amazing. I can say without a doubt, one of the reasons I love to photograph and why it has such a deeper meaning is him. If you see him, you see a camera in his hand. Capturing moments over the years and along the way. Happy Birthday Dad and love you so very much. 🤍 Hope your day is as beautiful as the photographs you capture.

Sadly, those aren’t clouds but smoke from a wildfire as seen atop Sugar Loaf yesterday. The air here in Negaunee is thick with it. Thinking of all of those affected and praying for the rain forecasted we so desperately need. 🙏🏼
