Michelle Schneider, a longtime Neenah resident, has written a children’s book titled “Pollie Patootie and the Rainbow Camera Strap.”

Schneider has long wanted to write a children’s book, and she knew she wanted the book to have an important message. “Polly Patootie and the Rainbow Camera Strap” centers on a fictional six-year-old girl named Pollie Patootie, who finds a rainbow camera strap for sale at the Neenah
Farmers Market.

Pollie wants to buy the camera strap, but she can’t afford it. Pollie’s parents tell her she must do extra chores to earn enough money to purchase
it. Throughout the summer, Pollie works hard doing chores until she has
enough money to buy it. Through this experience, Pollie learns that if she wants something, she can work hard to earn it.

Schneider said this is “a message that everybody needs to hear.”

To promote her book, Schneider will be hosting several upcoming book signing events, including from 8 a.m. to noon today at the Neenah Farmers Market.

One of my long time clients recently had a BiRtHdAy 🎉 & her Mama bought my book and had me sign it with a personal message because her daughter is IN it!!
