From writing the confined space permits to performing the confined space inspections myself, I've seen the hazards firsthand.
I know what it's like to suit up, review the paperwork, coordinate the entry team, monitor atmospheric conditions, and send people into environments that carry risk...
That experience is what led me to start AeroSpec Solutions.
I saw an opportunity to make inspections safer, faster, and more cost-effective by keeping people out of confined spaces whenever possible.
Today, technology allows us to collect the visual data we need without exposing personnel to the same level of risk. Fewer entries. Less downtime. Better planning. Safer outcomes.
This photo was taken during a turnaround in 2024. Looking back, it's interesting to see how those experiences helped shape the vision for what we're building today.

Meet the team-Chief of Inspections.

Keegan is a CWI certified Welding Inspector with over 15 years in the pipeline industry and extensive experience supporting natural gas and refined-product projects across the United States. His background spans new construction, integrity maintenance, and large-scale rehabilitation work, and he has served as Chief of Inspection on multiple projects, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance at every level.

Outside of his work, Keegan enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling, and experiencing new places and cultures. He appreciates the simple things, good food, fresh air, and time well spent with family and friends, and values the connections and experiences that come from living with a sense of curiosity and adventure!

‼️API-Certified Inspectors Collaboration Opportunity‼️

We are looking for API 510 and/or API 653–Certified Inspectors (API 570 a plus) with experience in tanks, vessels, and industrial facilities, who are comfortable reviewing remote visual inspection (RVI) and drone-collected data.

We’re building a small network of inspectors to support unmanned inspection scopes through oversight, data review, and reporting. Flexible, project-based collaboration.
