As a photographer, I am incredibly grateful that my clients trust me with their memories. They trust me with their faces, their families, their babies, and some of the most precious moments of their lives. That trust is something I will never take lightly.

Recently, a court ruling sparked difficult conversations surrounding AI-generated CSAM and the gaps in current laws protecting against this type of content. Combined with the rapidly growing capabilities of AI, it made me stop and seriously consider what I am putting out into the world—and who ultimately has access to it.

Because of this, I have made the decision to no longer publicly post identifiable images of children.

The thought that an innocent photograph I’ve taken and shared could potentially be taken and manipulated into something harmful is something I simply cannot ignore.

I know I can’t control everything that happens on the internet. I can’t eliminate every risk. But I can control what I contribute to it. And if there is something within my control that I can do to better protect the people who trust me with their photographs, I feel a responsibility to do it.

This doesn’t mean I’ll stop sharing family sessions. It just means I may get a little more creative with how I share them—blurred faces, photographs from behind, little hands and feet, silhouettes, and all of the beautiful in-between moments that tell a story without putting a child’s identity on display.

While I’m hoping this won’t affect my business, the safety and privacy of my clients will always matter more to me than having something to post.

Photography is about preserving memories—not putting the people in those memories at unnecessary risk.

A few little rules because apparently I have to be responsible sometimes:

• Serving Pace, Milton, Navarre, Gulf Breeze + surrounding areas

• Retainers are non-refundable
• Deals are for new bookings only — no applying them to sessions already on the calendar
