I’ve kinda been ignoring my photography page, with all the hurricane prep and clean up afterwards, things have settled down enough to get back at it.
I recently came into a gently used Yashica Mat 124G, via a friend, and thus started my foray in to Medium Format Photography. This Twin Lens camera is interesting also as it only takes square photos. Yesterday I developed my first roll of film from it, so I’ll be interested to see how they come out once scanned.

Looks like we are in for a direct hit (or pretty darn close) as a Cat 2 hurricane. We are as ready as we can be. Both cars filled with gas, hurricane shutters are up, couple meals prepared, plenty of water. Solar generator and panels on stand by, all batter packs charged, now it’s time to kick back and enjoy the show! See you fine folks after the festivities.
