Already the winner of the New York Script Awards, the grand jury award at Film Invasion Los Angeles, and a finalist at the Nashville Film Festival, Ashley Heathcock ’s "The Debutante’s Gown" is ready to go from page to screen!

Written and directed by Ashley, this deeply Southern story is being brought to life right here in Natchez, MS, and we are more than excited to be a part of the journey. But we still need your help bringing this to life!

A haunted debutante gown is plucked out of a quirky antique shop by a community theatre director. Emily returns home to take care of her dying Grandma. She searches for a distraction and lands the lead role, the debutante's gown is assigned to her. When the gown goes on its lights-out for Emily.

🎬 That’s a wrap on Day 1 of The Debutante’s Gown.

Our first production block is officially complete, with principal photography set to continue this November.

A huge thank you to Ashley Heathcock, writer and director of The Debutante’s Gown, for trusting Natchez Film Company to bring her vision to life. It’s always an honor to collaborate with passionate storytellers and talented artists.

Special thanks to our producer, Davis Sharp, whose leadership kept everything running smoothly, and to every cast and crew member who poured their time, talent, and heart into making this first chapter a success. Film is truly the ultimate team effort, and we’re grateful for everyone who made this production possible.

We can’t wait to get back on set this November to finish bringing this story to the screen.
