When 9/11 rolls around we talk about “Never Forget” - I choose to remember the days and months following the attacks, the togetherness of a united country. When I see the memorial and the New York skyline without those iconic towers, but now with a more prominent building- I see how America prevailed in a very challenging time as a country and rebuilt stronger and better together, I hope America can find its way back to those days and train of thought instead of this divisive rhetoric currently spouted.

I hate politics, but I do love America.

I don’t want to lead a life full of regrets and lost opportunity, I don’t want to get to the end of the road unfulfilled. I’ve been a photographer since I was 11 and had my first film camera (it was a Mickey Mouse one and it was cool as f**k) since I was 5. If there was one thing I could tell my younger self it would be, “chase the dream, don’t let it die, listen to your grandfather and make the time.”
