Two of the kindest people I had the privilege of photographing during my first weekend away after my dad passed.

I rented a little cabin on the water, spent the morning kayaking, and sat on the dock for a while talking to Dad before heading to Beersheba Springs for their wedding.

Then I arrived to these two and a crew who were so genuinely warm and welcoming to every single vendor there. It was one of those wedding days where the kindness of the people stays with you long after the photos are delivered.

Ohhhhhh, Nashville weather this week. Am I right? 😂

Michael had a plan: a balcony, a view, and the perfect proposal. Then, about 20 minutes before the big moment, the sky absolutely opened up.

But a little rain wasn’t going to ruin this one. Plans shifted, the proposal happened, and I think her face says everything you need to know.
