The post I never wanted to make and definitely never thought it would be this soon. Our Bear went to heaven and we are beyond heartbroken. I can’t think about him or pick a dog hair off of me without crying. He was our first baby, our protector, and the reason we bought our house (he was so big and needed a big yard). He was loyal and sweet. He had a huge bark but no bite! He loved nothing more than playing in the backyard with the kids and chasing them around the living room. He loved us all so much and we were his entire world. He was my parent’s first grand baby. We have a loud house but it is eerily quiet without him. I just never knew how hard it would be to lose him. We know he is in a better place where he isn’t sick and can see and run and play and eat table scraps all day long. He was truly the best dog ever, despite how much he annoyed me sometimes, ha. He honestly never left my side. We love him and miss him more than I ever imagined possible.

Merry Christmas (a little late) from our growing family! We are more shocked than anyone to be sharing this surprising and unplanned news!! His plans are bigger and better than our own and we will certainly have more gifts under our tree next year! Baby Stevens #3 coming July 2025!
