Instagram is great for showing the highlights, but I wanted to share a full in-home newborn gallery from start to finish! Sessions last 1–1.5 hours and we’ll usually hop between the living room, nursery (if you’ve got one), a bedroom, and outside.

One of the best parts about in-home newborn sessions is how relaxed they feel. No packing up your baby, no rushing out the door, and plenty of time for feeding, diaper changes, and snuggles along the way. Your home becomes part of the story, which always makes these images feel extra meaningful years later.

If you’re hoping for a newborn session that feels calm, natural, and actually fun, that’s exactly what I’m here for.

This recent session felt less like “photos” and more like catching up with old friends. We laughed, we played, and everything flowed so effortlessly. By the end, big brother didn’t want me to leave…which might be the highest compliment I could get.

At one point, his dad was quietly observing and said, “Wow, you really have the best job ever!” Honestly, it’s moments like this that make it true.

One of the wildest parts of this job is seeing how fast the first year goes. Tiny newborn days turn into sitting up, then walking, before you even have time to catch your breath. Photographing these milestones at home, in the same space, makes it so special to look back and really see how much changes in just one year.
