It’s been forever since I’ve posted, and a good while since I’ve picked up the camera... So where to start???
Firstly! I am no longer located in Middle TN. On January 3rd, 2020 I moved from Mount Juliet, TN to a tiny town here in Georgia called Hinesville. It’s much different here, but I’m enjoying myself. Since moving down, I haven’t really touched my camera. I gave a go at advertising for mini sessions when it was still way too cold outside; so I wasn’t too surprised that I had zero luck booking any clients. From there, I decided to put down the camera and get to know the area a little bit more. I took a drive, visited a few places and soon realized that this town is literally just a circle of street filled with military peeps, swampy air, and a thumb-full of things to do. No lie. The smell here is beyond unique and isn’t for the weakest of stomachs. Despite all of this, I don’t really mind it much... it’s just different from my growing Mount Juliet, TN town.
One of the upsides of being here is that I’m just a short drive away from Savannah and I am also a little over an hour from the beach. There are plenty of places to discover outside of this small suburb. So, while I’m here, I’m excited to explore!
Anyways, I want to get back to shooting and taking on sessions, so I am planning on offering family and engagement sessions in a few surrounding cities! If you are from around here, do you have any suggestions on great locations to shoot at? Also, and ideas on places to visit?!
