Third time’s a charm!! Had the BEST day celebrating Regina and Bill yesterday at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. They finally had their big day, a year and a day after their original date. One of my favorite parts of a wedding is seeing the people they love go all out celebrating the couple. Their family and friends were SO kind and warm...which in my opinion is always a reflection of the couple. You guys. These two have been together for SIXTEEN years, since 8th grade. Have you heard anything cuter? Regina and Bill-cheers to you guys!! Thank you so much for including me in your day💛

CHICAGO MINI SESSIONS🎉

I’m so excited to be offering mini sessions in Chicago, for the first time ever. Winter will be in your past (please, God) and you’ll be thawed out, ready for summertime Chi. It’s the perfect time for family photos, updated pictures with your honey, new headshots or brand content, etc. the world is your oyster here.

The details:
- When: Saturday, May 22nd
- Where: North Ave Beach
- What: 20 minute session, 10 high res edited images (of your choosing), opportunity to purchase more images/full gallery
- Cost: $250 ($50 dollars to reserve your spot, remaining balance due one week before session)

Booking opens to the public Monday, May 26th at 7p and early bird booking for my email list on Sunday, the 25th at 7p. I’m only offering 7 time slots so if you want to ensure you get a spot, DM me your email address so you don’t miss out!

Kaylie + Ethan’s wedding day was intimate, sweet, and full of small hometown charm. Some of the highlights of the day were…

Kaylie’s grandfather made their wedding cake, his very own cheesecake recipe.

Because they had to change their original plans, they got to take time to get photos with their pups at their brand new home.
🐶
Rather than the big reception they originally planned, they had an intimate dinner at Kaylie’s childhood home and finished the night off at Ethan’s grandparent’s home where he spent so much of his childhood.

It has been heartbreaking to work with so many couples who have had to change their wedding plans, some multiple times, due to Covid-19. It hasn’t been an easy year for people to get married but I will say that it has been really beautiful watching people pivot and add even more intentionality to their days as they’ve changed their plans.

Well. We made it. It’s the first day of the 4th quarter. This year has felt 10 years long and 2 seconds long all at the same time, hasn’t it?

Just a little reminder that 2020 is happening *for* you, not to you. I know it doesn’t feel that way for so many reasons but choosing that mindset shift is going to help us end this wild year on a high note. Taking some time today to reflect on what 2020 has taught me as well as what I want these last few months to look like.

How are you taking time today to reflect, to be proud of yourself for choosing to show up in the weirdest year, and to look forward to what the rest of 2020 holds?
