So I did a few photoshoots last week in Michigan and learned a lot about myself and just generally what it is to be a “photographer”. For one, I really actually have no idea what I am doing. Two, fake it til you make it is my number one strategy. Three, if you shoot after 7pm it is hard for your photos to not look good. Four, stop taking a million photos and concentrate on taking a few amazing ones instead (I think after taking so many family photos I have developed a bad habit of just snapping whatever I can get😅).⁣ And lastly, I need to do more styled photoshoots in Nashville. Where the models at?!💁🏼‍♀️💕✨

how fun this was to watch my best friend put on wedding dresses and get to snap a few photos behind the scenes as well. i felt like a proud mama on her daughters wedding day😅 (idk how you mamas and dads hold it together on your child’s wedding day). also, fella’s, this is a pretend shoot. she’s on the market still, because so many of you suck. get it together.👏🏻
