Lowen+Studio and Gallery Photography Gallery Professionally I am an architectural designer and owner of a small boutique architectural and interior design firm.

I find that architectural design and photography are two creative endeavors that I often integrate within my professional and artistic work. My training in architecture gave me the foundation to observe and capture moments evoking a timeless presence through composition. Photographically, I am intrigued by old world urban architectural scenes that capture the sense of a culture and a way of life.

Since an early age I have chased the world with my camera documenting the places I have encountered. When I first traveled internationally I was awakened with a previously undiscovered enthusiasm about the world around me. My motivation became to explore other cultures, happen upon a place of unique beauty and present it as a reflection of my experience of that journey. Through my photography I have continued to explore and capture images that aim to tell of a time and a place, revealing a calm, yet timeless essence of a specific moment.

Attended a book signing of a good friend and photographer this weekend, simin soroush at gallery simin. I am very proud of her and proud to have designed her gallery which after 5 years holds up as an impressive canvas to her extreme talent.
Visit Gallery Simin in Germantown. She is an amazing photographer.

We are printing and framing new custom artwork for the interior design renovations of the dining rooms for Stones River country Club. Should be installed next week. I will post pictures soon.
