On my GG’s 85th, I offered to take some portraits for fun. I wanted to do it in the home she spent over 50 years building, rearranging furniture, hosting, cooking, and so much more!

Linda is a force to be reckoned with. She just turned 86 last month and since then went dancing in Cape Cod and to a Luke Bryan with my mom. If you’ve ever met her, you would immediately know how much love she has in her heart for all things. She enjoyed writing books based on bedtime stories she told my brother and I growing up.

This is a bit more of a personal post as GG is entering her final chapter. My passion for storytelling comes from her! So whether you knew it or not, past, present, or future photos were all influenced by her presence in my life.

Having an early morning start meant privacy, no crowds, and cooler temps during the summer heat. Always nice to think about your partner’s willingness to sweat for some beautiful photos ;)

(P.S. I would not normally wear athleisure wear to a shoot but it was darn hot that week in TN and I was running around a lot!)
