Sometimes as a photographer I feel like I’ve lived a million different lives, just getting to step into all of these love stories…

One day, I’m hiding in a quiet corner watching vows unfold, the next I’m running around with a toddler who just decided rocks are their entire personality. It’s a little emotional, a little chaotic, and somehow always so full of life.

It kind of feels like living inside all these little invisible string moments, getting to see how people find each other, grow together, and build something that’s so fully theirs.

And yeah… I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of it.

There’s just something about photos taken on a real camera that iPhones simply can’t compete with and I will die on this hill 😂

Like yes, we love an iPhone moment, we’re all for the spontaneous, blurry, chaotic camera roll memories. But a real camera? Oh she’s different.

It’s the kind of photo that makes you pause for a second. The kind you can picture hanging on your wall years from now. The kind that brings you right back to how it all felt.

And honestly?? That kind of magic is worth it every single time 💛

One of my favorite parts of a wedding day is this moment right here. We pull you both away from the excitement for just a second of quiet, together.

You get to look at your person and actually feel it all sink in. Some couples keep things traditional and don’t see each other, just holding hands around a corner, grounding themselves in the moment. Others read their vows in private and let all the emotions spill out, the shaky voices, the tight hand squeezes, the happy tears. And honestly? It’s incredible every single time.

And whether you’re reading every word you wrote or just soaking each other in before everything begins, this is the part you’ll remember forever.

Your love. Your promises. Your moment.

I will always care most about the in-between moments. I’m talking about the quick hugs, the deep breaths, the stuff happening while everyone else is checking the timeline.

Fuji film is how I slow a wedding day down, the real moments, the quiet ones, the ones you don’t plan but always remember.

I don’t offer film-style photography because it’s trendy. I offer it because it feels like life, lived-in, creative, and a little imperfect in the best way.

My film simulation camera is an add-on for couples who trust the process and want their wedding photos to feel like their actual life!

Throwing it back to one of my all-time favorite couples and some of my closest friends, and yes, their babies made the guest list!

Family photos include everyone. And I mean *everyone:* four paws and all.

Your wedding day (and your family sessions) aren’t complete without the ones who greet you at the door, steal your spot on the couch, and have been there through every season of your relationship.

I’m always down for the dogs to come. They’re not just “extras”, they’re family too!

And honestly? Some of my favorite images come from those in-between moments when they’re just being their perfectly unhinged, lovable selves.

Okay but hear me out, if you’re already flying across the world, you might as well book the photos!

You’re on vacation. You’re relaxed. You’re exploring somewhere unreal like Iceland, and you just casually bring your photographer along for the adventure. ✈️✨

No big production. No pressure. Just documenting this version of you two, windswept, a little wild, completely in love. Some of my favorite sessions start with, “Wait… while we’re here, let’s do photos.” And suddenly your trip becomes part of your story together.

I know I’m a day early, but the Klapste Kretsch’s are taking the next couple days to sign off socials, turn our phones off, and enjoy the holiday with our little found family 💜
