I hope everyone had a fantastic time at MAGfest this year. I really am bummed I couldn't make it, but such is life sometimes. Now it's time to prepare for Katsucon! My photoshoot spots are filling, especially for Saturday. I know I complain about the crowds, but I truly am excited to create with all of you 📸

Peering around the corner at what 2026 may hold; how is it already the last days of December!?

2025 was a year where I really saw growth in my photography. I slowed down and made my timeslots longer. In years past, I felt intimidated by others, seeing photographers offer 15 minutes shoots and cranking out 6 images. I tried that for a while, and I felt extremely rushed in my process and was not satisfied with the variety of shots. For some of my clients, we do finish in only 15/20 minutes, but I love having the time to breath and chat. Especially with the new clients, and boy did I have so many this year! Shout out to all of you who are referring your friends to me. Nothing warms my heart more than to hear, "so and so suggested I book you".

Thank you to all my clients, new and old. Thank you to everyone who wanted to be my guinea pigs as I tested out new equipment, and especially for your patience as always.

I plan on doing the popular Art vs Artist post, but I wanted to get these words out in case I'm still sick tomorrow and forget to post.

In 2026, I'm thinking of putting together a little zine of my work. Not to sell, but to just have on my coffee table. I'd also like to try more studio style photoshoots. What are your goals for next year?

Katsucon photoshoot bookings are now open. Fashion and fandom welcome! Accepting shoots Thursday - Friday, though times are limited on Friday and Saturday.
Spots are first come, first serve; the sooner you submit your form, the better
