We asked the team to dig through their archives and share a favorite Dolly memory. Of course, they delivered. 💗

One memory: “I told Dolly I teased my hair higher than hers…and I actually did.” 😂

The other came from a shoot for the London production of 9 to 5. Dolly needed to sit inside a green screen setup built with apple boxes and sandbags. The goal? Get the shot…and pray she didn’t fall off. She laughed, giggled and just did her thing.

So many kind things have been said about Dolly, and according to the people lucky enough to work with her, they’re all true. She talked to everyone, made sure people were having a good time and always thanked the crew for being there.

We’re documenting the progress of The Motley as it continues to rise over Midtown Nashville. Phase 1 is already more than 20 stories up, and getting the drone this close gives us a great look at the work happening on top AND how much the Nashville skyline is changing around it.

Glass walls. Floor-to-ceiling windows. Bright daylight.

Those are some of the toughest conditions for interior photography, but they're also some of the most rewarding when everything comes together. We recently photographed the new Holland & Knight office in Nashville for our client, Solomon Builders, capturing clean architectural lines, balanced lighting, and a space designed to make an impression.



Great spaces deserve great photography, and this one was worth the challenge.

UNIVERSITY OF TENNESSEE RESEARCH PARK
⬇️ 3 techniques we used to capture this aerial. ⬇️

Every commercial drone shot starts with a plan. Here are three techniques we used to create this cinematic aerial of the University of Tennessee Research Park:

1️⃣ Start with a strong establishing shot.
Gain altitude first to showcase the scale of the property and its relationship to the surrounding landscape before moving into more detailed angles.

2️⃣ Use leading lines to guide the viewer.
Roadways, walking paths, and building layouts naturally draw the eye through the frame, creating a more intentional and cinematic composition.

3️⃣ End with a reveal.
Instead of stopping on your subject, continue the movement to reveal more of the environment. It gives the shot a stronger finish and provides editors with more creative flexibility.

The best aerial footage isn't just about flying a drone—it's about planning every movement with purpose.

There’s learning aerial photography…and then there’s learning it from someone who’s been doing it for years. ✈️📸

Our photographer Pasha recently got some time in the air with senior aerial photographer Mara, learning the ropes while capturing Atlanta from above. And you really can’t ask for a better classroom than this.

From Georgia Tech’s stadium to Midtown and Buckhead in the distance, there’s a LOT happening in one frame. Not bad for a day at the office. 😉
