I put my camera down five years ago when my mom passed away. My grief was so vast that it was all consuming. I know my mom would’ve been disappointed that I stopped shooting so I always prayed that I’d be inspired again. Then I met Rob Mayes, actor and musician, as he and his fiancé Lexie live across the road from me. He kept saying we need to shoot some time… Over and over… and one day hanging out by the pool, I saw the light and the shadows again so , I ran in and got an old suit jacket and a shirt and my camera! I also went, dusted off my lighting, and made a studio above the guest house next to my house. Thank you to my kids and my friends who have been encouraging me. And if I can help you with any creative photography needs, please reach out! “Though no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.” — Carl Bard
