Art is the best gift because she's the only one who will ever own that particular piece. It's the absolute most unique gift you can give.

I have this random piece that I'll probably never take to a show because it doesn't quite fit in right now. It's so beautiful in person!

We're cleaning out the house, and rearranging rooms. I hate storing my art. It feels so pointless, and this guy is going to have to get stored for a while.

So, I don't remember what I had it priced at, but most prints this size in a frame are somewhere in the $400 range. I'm happy to sell it for $240 to give it a home.

"Anna" - It amazes me how incredibly well Tolstoy wrote her character. There were times when I was reading the book that I thought he had reached into my mind and had seen so many thoughts and feelings I've had. Just incredible.

So I named my favorite butterfly that I've ever done after her. And, if I'm honest, I'm second guessing letting her go. I'm not supposed to wish this, but maybe no one will buy her this weekend. 😢

Do you remember when you were young, and you wondered sometimes if you were living in a dream?

Now, people talk about theories that we are in the Matrix.

I suppose it's all the same thing. A disconnect.

My guess is that everyone feels it at some point.

We are spiritual and physical. Sometimes we can feel stuck between them. Maybe that can be a beautiful place to be.

Sometimes, I hate Instagram. I just typed out this whole deep, meaningful blurb, and it just erased it!

To be fair, I mostly hate that kind of stuff on social media anyway. Is it really the place for it? I'd rather sit and talk in person.

But, sometimes, you just need to say a thing. I said it. Instagram erased it. I'm not saying it again.

So. Close your eyes. Focus for a minute on what you need to hear. Then pretend I said it. We all win.

And if you feel like it, tell me what it was! I'd love to hear how I've impacted your day. (Or let's hang out and talk about it in person. 😊).

(A hint- it was about my butterflies- but not about metamorphosis! That's not what they are about.)
